Jana Swec received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, NYC in 2001 with a focus in Studio Arts. After moving to Austin in 2001, she co-founded the artist-run organization, Big Medium, which produces programs such as the East & West Austin Studio Tours and the Texas Biennial. In 2014 she began focusing on her own personal work and collaborating with her brother on mural & sign projects around Texas. She has an upcoming solo show at GrayDUCK Gallery in Austin in the spring of 2017.
